Cloth Face Mask Making

Hamari Asha a rural women Upliftment and livelihood initiative by Raman Kant Munjal Foundation is contributing in these tuff times by way of making cloth masks for our rural and needy population. More than 100 Hamari Asha Project women, who have been trained in Sewing and stitching thru our skill development initiative, have now started making reusable cloth face masks.
We are pleased to share that until now, in a very short span, they have successfully stitched 1 Lakh masks which are being distributed free to villagers in rural villages of various states with the help of local govt authorities.
The project is also generating livelihood for these women as they are paid for stitching these masks thus helping them earn while working from home during these difficult times.
The project cost is funded by HeroMotoCorp as part of its csr initiative.

Resource Management System

Faced by the unexpected challenge of managing food delivery to the needy during Covid-19 lock down Gurugram district administration was looking for support to manage the backed process so that smooth and regular food distribution can happen and at scale. Raman Kant Munjal Foundation (a HERO group initiative) rose to the occasion & developed an online platform to support District administration’s efforts.

This platform captures information from all the stakeholders the needy, the donors, the volunteers and the NGOs and feeds this information to senior district Administration teams responsible for food distribution.

Through this platform one can identify the people who need help, track the progress through a master dashboard, and can either contribute by supplying food and other necessary items or generate a requirement by applying for help.

Till date this initiative has helped more than 10000 people across Gurugram.

COVID-19 Self Quarantine Support System

District Administration Gurugram had a task of managing persons with travel history kept in self quarantine to be monitored.  Approx. 10000 + persons were kept under home quarantine in Gurugram when the lock down began on 22nd March 2020.

Raman Kant Munjal Foundation volunteered for Distt. Administration to manage this task of monitoring these persons through its volunteers.

RMKF developed a Self-quarantine monitoring web app, which acted as the connecting interface between the administrative body and the volunteers, providing a centralized data analysis.

Initiative helped to streamline the whole self-quarantine monitoring for District Administration of Gurugram, by providing them a centralized dashboard for quick and easy monitoring, hence helping them take quick actions.
