Upgrading School Infrastructure
Raman Kant Munjal Foundation (RKMF) has been working tirelessly to make quality education and better infrastructure a reality for underprivileged students in government schools. In this quest, we have also helped various schools in restoring their classrooms, building walls and toilets, and even beautifying their classrooms by painting them. We have adopted 10 highway schools in areas such as Gurugram, Haridwar, Neemrana, Rewari and Kukas. The foundation, with support from Hero MotoCorp CSR, helps in revamping or restoring these schools to improve the learning experiences of children attending them.
Educating the Girl Child
RKMF believes that empowering girls at an early stage will bring them better opportunities in life and respect in society. With this in mind, we have awarded scholarships worth ₹10,000 per girl child; 60 girls from impoverished backgrounds and studying at our Asha Centers have been covered.
Free Education for BPL Students
Children should not be deprived of their right to education just because they come from poor backgrounds. We believe that every child deserves to have a quality education no matter their background. Therefore, 48 such students have been admitted to our RMVM School on a full scholarship which includes the school fees, their uniform, books and stationery. Several organisations had come forward to sponsor them and make quality education a reality for these little kids.
