Education

We believe that education is an essential tool for upliftment of the society. To ensure equal opportunities for marginalized communities, the Raman Kant Munjal Foundation has launched several initiatives, including Hero Asha Education Centers - Remedial Education for underprivileged students from villages, Pathakshala – Govt schools transformation and teachers training, scholarships, Dhancharcha for promoting financial literacy, Saarthi for career counselling, and the Anganwadi transformation programs. These efforts have created a transformative impact on the lives of students, teachers, and the entire community.

Skill Development

Skill development is essential for fostering personal growth and enhancing employability in today’s competitive world. Recognizing this need, Hunar and Jeevika project are implemented to empower individuals with the skills required to thrive in job market. These programs focus on providing computer training, tally course, beautician course and sewing and stitching skills. By equipping individuals with the necessary tools and knowledge, these skill development initiatives aim to create a workforce that is skilled. Ultimately, these projects contribute to economic growth and help to build a more prosperous society.

Sustainable Development Goals

The Raman Kant Munjal Foundation is contributing to various Sustainable Development Goals through different development projects. Our flagship program “Hero Asha Education Center”, we are supporting goals of quality education, gender equality, and reduced inequalities. The Hamari Asha, a women livelihood initiative, is supporting gender equality, poverty reduction and good jobs for economic growth. As a collective responsibility of the environment, we have constructed check dams, water ATM installation, solar street lights, and tree plantation projects to support affordable and clean energy, clean water and sanitation and climate action. Raman Kant Munjal Foundation has collaborated with various CSRs like Hero MotoCorp limited, Hero Future Energy Limited, Hero FinCorp etc. and BML university.

Scholarship Holder Lady Shri Ram College, New Delhi

Anjana thought that studying in a government school and having a poor background would make it impossible for her to achieve her dream of becoming a CA. However, things changed once she received the RKM Scholarship. She is now pursuing a B.Com degree from the prestigious Lady Shri Ram College in Delhi and is on her way to making her dream a reality.

Rubi Devi likes visiting the training sessions. Hailing from Malpura village, this confident woman is grateful for the exposure to new skills, which has enhanced her self-esteem a great deal.

Praveen is visually impaired but that did not stop him from pursuing a career in finance. This confident boy looks up to the 100% visually challenged Sandeep Maheshwari and Srikant Bhola who are successful businessmen. RKM Scholarships further boosted his drive to make it big in the field of finance.

Life has become meaningful for Sundari Gujar since she joined the Hamari Asha program. She lives in Ghatal village and says that if it wasn’t for this noble cause, she would have wasted all her time in gossip.

Trainee Hamari Asha

Anshu has been learning diya making from the Hamari Asha initiative for five years now. She is a resident of Mau village and says that with this skill, she gets employed for 4-5 months a year. The money she earns lets her celebrate Diwali with her family in a grand way.
